41 percent of Kathmanduites receive both doses of vaccine against coronavirus



KATHMANDU: Forty-one percent of people in the Kathmandu Valley have received both doses of vaccine against COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health has said that 40 percent of the people in the Kathmandu Valley have been vaccinated by September 20.

According to the Ministry, 41 percent in Kathmandu, 41 percent in Bhaktapur and 38 percent in Lalitpur have already received both doses of the coronavirus.

Similarly, the government has stated that 33 percent of those eligible for vaccination will be vaccinated with both doses by mid-October throughout the country.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has already instructed the concerned to expedite the process by the end of April next year.

So far, only 29 percent of people in Bagmati have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to the Ministry.
