Two persons killed in separate incidents in Saptari



RAJBIRAJ: Two persons died in separate incidents occurred in Saptari district last night.

Motorcyclist Lelhai Khanga, 55, of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-5 in the district died after a tractor hit his motorcycle (Ko 7 Pa 4410) near Bindeshwori Multiple Campus in Rajbiraj, police said. Police said that Khanga, who was on his way to home from Rajbiraj, died on the spot after the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 2878) from the opposite direction knocked him down.

Likewise, an 11-year-old boy Chandan Thakur was electrocuted at Sakharpura village in Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-3 in the district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhav Prasad Kafle said that Thakur was electrocuted after getting in touch with electric wire while fixing a receiver of DTH service provider DishHome at his home.
