DOHA: Two Nepali migrant workers have died in the line of duty in Kuwait.

They died after being buried by a mound of aggregates and sand while they were working for the construction of International Airport. Another Nepali migrant worker has been rescued, informed the Fire Force Department of Kuwait government.

According to the Fire Force Department, the bodies of two Nepalis were retrieved four hours after the incident.

The identifies of the deceased and the injured have not been divulged.

Minister for Public Works and Minister of State for Communications and Information Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Fares had reached the incident site.

Four Nepali migrant workers had died after a mound of sand caved in at the construction site in Al Mulla region last year.
