India’s Foreign Minister Jaishankar congratulates his Nepali counterpart Mahaseth



KATHMANDU: Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has sent a congratulatory message to his newly-appointed Nepali counterpart Raghubir Mahaseth.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra called on Foreign Minister Mahaseth at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar on Wednesday afternoon with a congratulatory message from Jaishankar.

On the occasion, Foreign Minister Mahaseth and Indian Ambassador Kwatra also discussed vaccine import and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting between the two took place in the background of the reshuffle of the cabinet in Nepal and Mahaseth taking over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
