Landslide disrupts Palpa-Butwal road section



KATHMANDU: The Palpa-Butwal road section has been disrupted sice early Saturday morning due to incessant rains continuing since the last three days.

The highway was disrupted after a landslide occurred at Tinau rural municipality-3, Sisuwa, informed Sub Inspector Som Bahadur Saru.

It is likely to take around three hours to remove the landslide fallen from the jungle at Sisuwa.

With the disruption of the road, all the vehicles heading to Palpa from Butwal and vice versa have been halted, said Saru.
