42,000 Nepalis return home from Saudi Arabia



KATHMANDU: The COVID-19 infection cases in Saudi Arabia are increasing every single day.

As many as 440,914 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia so far. Of them, 7,249 have died and 446,090 have recovered from the pandemic.

Many Nepali people have lost their jobs in the Gulf country due to COVID-19.  A total of 42,306 Nepali people have returned home via chartered flights after being rendered jobless due to COVID-19.

Thousands of Nepali migrant workers are awaiting flights to return home after the Nepal government put a ban on international flights.
