Former IGP  Khadgajit Baral passes away



KATHMANDU: Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khadgajit Baral has passed away.

Ninety-three-year-old Baral passed away peacefully at his own residence in Maharajgunj on Wednesday morning, informed his grandson Pujan Baran.

Baral had become an IGP of the Nepal Police for six years from 2029 to BS 2035 BS. He had also become a lawmaker and the Nepali Ambassador to Myanmar.

He had participated in the armed movement launched by the Nepali Congress against the Rana rule in his boyhood.
