NA team successfully climbs Mt Ama Dablam



KATHMANDU: A team led by the Captain of the Nepal Army, Arjun Khatri, has summited Mt Ama Dablam.

The team successfully climbed the 6,817-meter tall mountain this morning in order to collect trash collected at the upper camp under the ‘Clean Mountain Campaign-2021’.

According to the Nepal Army, Directorate of Public Relations and Information, the team has climbed the peak from the second base camp on Wednesday night.

The NA has launched the campaign on April 24 with the objective of collecting garbage thrown by climbers on six mountains including Mt Everest.
