Nepali migrant workers in South Korea provide support for Gautam Buddha Cricket Stadium



KATHMANDU: Nepali migrant workers in the Republic of Korea have provided Rs 452,630 in financial assistance for the development of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.

The cricket stadium is being built from the locals’ level with the initiative of artists Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire.

A total of 107 Nepali migrant workers in South Korea had collected the amount by initiating a campaign ‘One Hour’s Income for Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium’ to support the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation.

The Foundation has also confirmed that the amount was credited in its bank account.

The campaigners in South Korea stated that they would continue their move to fundraise for this cause in coming days while appealing to Nepalis brothers and sisters in South Korea to extend their support.
