KATHMANDU: Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a graft case at Special Court against the Land Revenue Officer of Kanchanpur on Tuesday.
According to CIAA sources, Lokraj Joshi, a land revenue officer at the Land Reform and Land Revenue Office, Kanchanpur has been sued on corruption allegation.
The anti-graft body had taken Joshi under control while the latter was taking bribe from beneficiaries for transferring ownership of the parental property in successors’ name.
CIAA team had nabbed Joshi while he taking Rs 24,000 from the beneficiaries.
