Home Ministry to shift to MoFAGA building from April 14

KATHMANDU: The Home Ministry is set to shift to the building of Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA) on April 14, 2021.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) had shifted to the MoFAGA building after the 2015 Gorkha earthquake. The OPMCM shifted back to its own building about one and half months ago.

The Home Ministry will relocate to the MoFAGA building, which was vacated as OPMCM shifted to its building,  as some of its physical infrastructure is undergoing restoration work.

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has inspected the soon-to-be Home Ministry office space in the MoGAFA building Friday.
