Court orders CK Raut to appear within 35 days



KATHMANDU: Dr. CK Raut, who is claimed to have left the Independent Madhes Alliance and engaged in peaceful politics, has been asked to appear in court within 35 days.

Dr. Chandrakant Raut alias CK Raut has been asked to appear in Court for organized crime against the state.

Raut, who hails from Rautahat Mahadev Rural municipality ward no. 2 and currently residing in Dhanusha of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 8, has been asked to appear in court.

The Nawalparasi District Court, in its notice, has asked Dr Raut to come with his evidence.

The group led by CK Raut entered into mainstream politics on March 8, 2019, after signing an 11-point agreement with the government.

The court has issued a notice to appear in the court excluding travel interval time.
