PM Office directs to seek international development assistance with approval from Cabinet



KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers have instructed the concerned organizations to accept international assistance from development partners only with the approval of the Council of Ministers.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on April 3 made the decision to this effect to make the foreign aid mobilization process systematic.

Accordingly, the name of the development partner seeking assistance, area of ​​assistance to be mobilized, type of assistance, method of payment of assistance, assistance to be mobilized within or outside the national system, and information on assistance mobilization method must be approved by the Council of Ministers.
