Five arrested with drugs from Kanchanpur

KANCHANPUR: Five persons have been arrested with drugs in Kanchanpur.

Police said that they were arrested from Daiji Bazaar in Bedkot Municipality last night.

The arrested are Sunil Sahu, 22, Hemant Dhami, 24, Ram Chandra Rana, 22, Umesh Dangaura, 20, and Suraj Rana, 20, said Amar Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

The police recovered 1.24 grams of hashish, 8.45 grams of brown sugar and 8.45 grams from them.

DSP Thapa said that they were able to arrest them while they were making packets for sale and distribution. Police said that they are investigating for necessary action.
