PM Oli bids send off to mountaineer Sherpa



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has handed over the national flag and bid farewell to Maya Sherpa who is setting out to climb Mt Annapurna and Mt Dhawalagiri.

PM Oli wished Sherpa a successful on her mountaineering mission.

He also suggested her to climb the mountains taking into consideration all aspects as her health and physical condition.

Sherpa, who started mountain climbing in 2003, has set the goal of climbing all the 14 peaks above 8,000 meters in the world. She has already climbed five of these 14 peaks.

She has climbed Sagarmatha (Mt Everest), the highest peak in the world, three times before this.
