‘Joshi’s health condition improves but not still out of danger’



KATHMANDU: The health condition of former minister and Nepali Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi has improved slightly.

Dr Rajiv Jha of Norvic Hospital said Joshi’s health condition has improved a little as he can now move his right side of his body.  “However, he is still not out of danger and his left side of his body is paralyzed completely,” added Jha.

A head surgery was carried on Joshi after a CT scanning report showed a blood clot and an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in his brain. The blood clot was removed through surgery and the fluid was drained through an external ventricular drain (EVD), said Jha.

Former Minister Joshi was rushed to Norvic Hospital on Friday moring after he suffered from brain hemorrhage in his house on Thursday night.
