Culprits in Bhagarathi murder case will be brought to book: Minister Thapa



KATHMANDU: Women legal practitioners have handed over a memorandum to Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa demanding an effective investigation into the Bhagarathi Bhatta rape and murder case and action against the culprits.

Office-bearer of the Nepal Bar Association Women’s Committee met Home Minister Thapa on Tuesday and demanded justice for the victim and her family after investigating the murder of Bhatta of Dogadakedar-3 in Baitadi.

While receiving the memorandum, Home Minister Thapa said that the investigation into the case has reached the final stage, adding that the culprits would be arrested soon.
