POKHARA: A foreign tourist who went missing in course of returning from Annapurna base camp has been rescued.

Malaysian citizen Wi Kin Chin had successfully scaled Mt Annapurna-1 and was returning back from the base camp on Wednesday, when he went missing.

He was rescued by a search and rescue team that worked with the help of a helicopter. He will be brought to Pokhara today, according to spokesperson at the District Police Office, Kaski, Rabindra Man Gurung. Further details about the matter are awaited, he said.
