Schools to reopen from Jan 14 in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: The schools are scheduled to reopen in Bhaktapur municipality from January 14.

A meeting of the Town Education Committee of the Municipality took this decision today. With this, students from play group to grade 12 would be physically present in the school in the municipality.

The schools were shut down since March due to COVID-9 outbreak in the country. However, online classes were launched in various schools during the lockdown.

It may be noted that the municipality had granted permission to reopen the schools for grade 8, 9 and 10 graders since December 16 in Bhaktapur municipality.

Mayor Sunil Prajapati shared that they took this decisions following the suggestions from guardians, stakeholders and education experts.
