COVID-19 impact: Only 97 attend TU 46th Convocation Ceremony



KATHMANDU: Out of 56,713 students who graduated from the university this time only 97 people attended this year’s convocation ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to TU, only 97 students including those of Ph.D., MCH, and MD to Bachelor’s level have participated in the convocation program organized by the Office of Examination Control, Balkhu TU this year.

Shiva Lal Bhushal, the Chief of TU’s Rector’s Office informed that the students who have completed their Ph.D., MCH, MD, M Phil to other Bachelor’s programs from July 2019 to June 2020 took part in the convocation program.

According to Bhushal, only 97 people who have completed the PHD, MCH, MD, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Level put on the gown of convocation this year.
