Driver arrested for trying to bribe traffic police officer



KATHMANDU: A driver has been arrested for trying to bribe a traffic policeman with Rs 200 after violating traffic rules.

Harka Bahadur Magar, 28, of Balkumari in Lalitpur was arrested on Sunday morning.

According to the police, the driver of a jeep, Ba 13 Cha 2896, Magar tried to bribe the traffic police officer on duty.

He will be prosecuted under the Vehicle and Transport Management Act.
