Cheetah taken under control



DAMAULI: A Cheetah has been trapped and taken under control in the community forest in Bhanu municipality-2 this morning.

The Cheetah will now be safely translocated, said assistant forest officer Suresh Kumar Bhujel. This is the second time that a Cheetah has been trapped in the Majuwa Okhle community forest.

Forest officials are putting up traps to arrest the wild animal that has become a menace for the locals living near the forest area. Many children have been killed in attacks by Cheetah in Bhanu and Shuklagandaki municipalities, Anbukhaireni and Bandipur rural municipalities. RSS
