Cabinet transfers secretaries



KATHMANDU: The government has made a transfer of different secretaries.

A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Thursday evening transferred Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration Surya Prasad Gautam to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Secretary at the Ministry of Sports Ram Prasad Thapaliya has been transferred to the Public Procurement Monitoring Office.

Likewise, Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office Kedar Neupane has been transferred to the Vice President’s Office while Secretary to the Vice President’s Office Khagraj Baral has been transferred to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Devendra Karki has been transferred to the Water and Energy Commission while Secretary Ramesh Prasad Singh has been transferred to the Ministry of Urban Development.

The Cabinet transferred Kathmandu Metropolitan Secretary Eknarayan Aryal to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Irrigation Secretary Rabindra Man Shrestha has been transferred to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure.

Secretary Yadav Koirala at Prime Minister’s Office has been given the responsibility of Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
