NC President Deuba expresses grief over Sindhupalchowk incident



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sorrow over the recent landslide occurred at Nagphunje, Bhirkharka and Newartole of Bahrabise Municipality-7 in Sindhupalchowk.

At least nine people have died and 22 others have gone missing in the landslide that took place Saturday night.

Issuing a statement, Deuba urged the government to accelerate the search operation of the missing ones, ensure treatment of the injured and immediate arrangement of food stuffs, clothes, medicines and temporary settlement during this hour of disaster.
