Cabinet meeting postponed, likely to decide on NEA Executive Director on Friday

KATHMANDU: The cabinet meeting scheduled for Thursday evening has been postponed.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the cabinet meeting has to be postponed as the Prime Minister and party Chairman KP Oli has to be involved in the preparations for the ruling party’s standing committee meeting to be held on Friday.

The ministers were earlier informed to hold a cabinet meeting on Thursday evening.

The forthcoming cabinet meeting is preparing to appoint the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.

The prime minister is also preparing to make other important appointments and appoint a government’s spokesperson.
