MFD predicts rain until Friday



KATHMANDU: Whether is generally cloudy in most parts of the country and light rain is occurring in some places of all the provinces this morning.

Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted light to moderate rains with thunderstorms in many places of the country today.

Similarly, heavy rain is expected in some places of Bagamati Pradesh, Pradesh 5, Gandaki and Sudur Pashchim Pradesh, according to a weather bulletin issued by the MFD.

The water level is likely to increase in the rivers and rivulets in those places, causing landslides and floods. Locals, especially those living along the banks of the river, have been asked to take precaution.

The rain is forecast to continue tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
