Nepali Ekta Samaj congratulates on 1’st anniversary of Ladakh’s Union Territory status

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Ekta Samaj, Bharat, Leh has wished and congratulated the people of Ladakh on the 1’st Anniversary of being granted the Union Territory status.

“We believe that after the grant of UT status to Ladakh by the Government of India has not only benefitted the people of Ladakh in general but also the Nepalis working/living in Ladakh region,” it said in a statement.

Likewise, it has extended sincere thanks to the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for granting UT status to Ladakh.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to UT Ladakh Administration and Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh for their support to the Nepali community working/living in UT Ladakh, the statement added.
