Kathmandu Valley reports nine new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has reported nine coronavirus positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing organized by the Ministry of Health and Population on Tuesday afternoon, Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that eight from Kathmandu and one from Lalitpur have tested positive for coronavirus.

Tests carried out at TU Teaching Hospital confirmed eight people from Kathmandu to have contracted coronavirus and one person from Lalitpur tested positive in tests at Star Hospital.

Nepal confirmed 150 cases in the past 24. With the new cases, total coronavirus cases in the country stand at 17,994.
