Four injured in Sindhupalchowk landslide airlifted to Kathmandu



SINDHUPALCHOWK: Four people seriously injured in a landslide in Barhabise of the district have been airlifted to Kathmandu on Thursday afternoon.

According to District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk, two injured were airlifted through a chopper of Kailash Air and two others though a helicopter of Mountain Air.

Two of them have been taken to HAMS Hospital and two to Kailash Hospital for treatment.

Landslides triggered by incessant rainfall have claimed two lives while 18 others have gone missing in Jambu village in the district. Floods have swept away some 15 houses.

 Rescue and search operations are currently underway.
