KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a teacher on the alleged charge of sexually harassing a teenage student in Panchthar district.
Upendra Chaudhary, a teacher of a school based in Hilihang Rural Municipality, Panchthar district, rounded up on Tuesday for sexually abusing eight grader.
According to the victim, Chaudhary, the science teacher, coaxed her into having sex with him promising her with highest marks in the subject while she was alone in her house.
Police said they are investing the case after taking Chaudhary into custody, said Police Inspector of Panchthar District Police Office, Anil Kumar Paudel.
