Gold, silver prices go down



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices witnessed a slight decline in the domestic market on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The federation reported that the price of gold fell by Rs 100 per tola, while silver declined by Rs 35 per tola compared to Wednesday.

With the latest adjustment, fine gold is being traded at Rs 297,200 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 4,945 per tola.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 297,300 per tola and silver at Rs 4,980 per tola in the domestic market.

The latest decline follows recent fluctuations in precious metal prices, which are influenced by trends in the international market as well as domestic demand.
