KATHMANDU: The central secretariat meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has begun at the party’s central office, with discussions centered on preparations for the party’s upcoming national general convention and key internal policy matters.
According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, the meeting is primarily focused on preparations for the party’s national convention scheduled to begin on June 21 in Chitwan.
Party leaders are reviewing organizational and logistical arrangements for the convention, including delegate selection procedures and the overall event schedule.
Sources said the meeting is also holding detailed discussions on the draft party statute, regarded as a key document that will help shape the party’s future direction.
Central leaders are expected to share their views on proposed amendments to the statute and the party’s organizational structure before the document is presented at the convention for endorsement.
The party has already mobilized its organizational mechanisms to ensure that the Chitwan convention is conducted in a systematic and effective manner.
