Dozers used as milk carriers as rain damages road



PALPA: The farmers of Palpa have started using dozers as the alternative carriers to transport milk when the roads in rural areas got disrupted by rain-induced landslide and flood.

Dhiraj Sharma of Tansen 12 Luhung confirmed that the farmers have used the dozers to access district headquarter for their products especially milk as the roads are disrupted by landslide and flood caused by the continuous rainfall.

According to the sources the link roads are vulnerable to further landslide occurrence and are expensive to be maintained instantly. So, the farmers have started using the expensive dozers to take the milk and other products to the market.
