Man hacks wife to death in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: A person has killed his spouse at Tokha, Kathmandu.

Krishnahari Baniya, 43, of Baniyatar from Tokha Municipality-3 murdered his wife Salina Khadka by using a knife on Wednesday night.

According to the Police Headquarters, police have arrested Krishnahari this morning. Krishnahari attacked Salina with the knife over the family dispute, according to the preliminary investigation of the police.

Salina died on the spot and her body has now been kept at Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital for post-mortem.

Police personnel deputed from Metropolitan Police Sector, Gongabu and Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, have been carrying out further investigation into the incident. RSS
