Honduran President infected with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez has tested positive for coronavirus.

Hernandez in a televised speech on late Tuesday said that he has been infected with the novel coronavirus.

He told the Honduran people that he has mild symptoms and is under medical treatments.

A total of 330 people have died and 9,656 have been infected with coronavirus in Honduras as of Wednesday.
