PM Oli extends sorrow over Nisadh’s demise

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has extended deep sorrow over the demise of the leader of the Nepal Communist Party and former minister of state for Industry, Meghraj Nisadh.

In a condolence message today, Prime Minister Oli said he found Nisadh a person with a simple lifestyle, honesty and devotion towards the nation and people.

Extending heartfelt tribute to Nisadh, he expressed condolence towards the bereaved family members, relatives and well-wishers.

Suffering from kidney problems, Nisadh, 65, died this afternoon while undergoing treatment at Birgunj-based National Medical College. He was entrusted with the responsibility of a minister of state for Industry from Madhes Samata Party in the erstwhile government led by Prime Minister Oli.

The Madhesh Samata Party led by Nisadh was merged with the Nepal Communist Party.
