Met office forecasts brief rainfall

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted brief rainfall with thunderstorm in most parts of the country including Kathmandu Valley. The office stated that rainfall is likely due to low-pressure system that has been developed due to westerly wind.

Meteorologist Manju Basi said the wind entered the country Nepal on Friday and will have its impact on eastern and central regions for the next one or two days.

Though there is no possibility of heavy rainfall now, most of the places are likely to see light to moderate rains.
