14 doctors in deputation returned to original workplace



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has terminated the deputation of doctors, thereby returning them to their original workplace.

Spokesperson at Health Ministry, Dr Prakash Budhathoki, informed that the doctors appointed at Dadeldhura Hospital of Sudurpaschim Province and Narayani Hospital and Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Madhes Province but deputed elsewhere have been returned to the respective hospitals.

 Minister for Health and Population, Nisha Mehta, took this decision. Those doctors being returned to respective work stations belong to 9th and 10th level medical persons as per government quota.

With this, Dadeldhura Hospital is receiving their four doctors back, while Narayani Hospital and Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital five each.

 Dr Rohita Bajracharya, Dr Josan Lal Bajracharya, Dr Bishal Kumar Dev, Dr Prakash Dhakal and Dr Sushil Samadarji will be serving at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital.

 Similarly, those to serve the patients back at Dadeldhura Hospital are Dr Santosh Kumar Gupta, Dr Misanta Sharma, Dr Nawin Chandra Bhatta, and Dr Suyogya Kafle, while Dr Sonika Dhari Shrestha, Dr Sanjog Timilsina, Dr Aruna Gyawali, Dr Mukesh Paudel and Dr Dipesh Bhattarai will be going back to Narayani Hospital after the ministerial decision.
