Oli calls for ensuring election security and fairness

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli has demanded that the government ensure adequate security and fairness in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Addressing an election gathering organized by the party’s Okhaldhunga-Kathmandu liaison office in the capital, Oli stressed the need for effective arrangements to maintain peace and security during the election process to prevent any malpractice or untoward activities.

Oli also urged voters to support young candidate Asmita Thapa, who has been fielded by the party in Okhaldhunga. He highlighted her dedication to local development and her ability to understand and address the issues of the people.

Candidate Thapa assured the gathering that the votes she would receive would not be misused and vowed to prove herself as a capable and responsible representative, promising to carry out constructive work.
