Mahabir Pun to voters: Vote if you like me, don’t if you don’t

KATHMANDU: Independent candidate Mahabir Pun has delivered a blunt and straightforward message to voters during his election campaign, urging them to vote based on conviction rather than promises.

“If you like what I say, vote for me. If you don’t, then don’t,” Pun said. “I don’t make promises. I do what I can.”

Pun said he has never worked for personal gain or self-interest and asked voters not to compare him with other candidates. “Take my pamphlet and share it with your friends. If you trust me, vote for me. If not, vote for another candidate,” he said.

He clarified that becoming a lawmaker is not his sole objective. “Even if I become an MP, I will work. Even if I don’t, I will still work. Village problems will be addressed after being elected. I am not someone who seeks votes through false assurances or money,” Pun said.

Emphasizing transparency and integrity in his campaign, Mahabir Pun urged voters to cast their ballots thoughtfully.
