Govt sets total budget expenditure at Rs 2.124 trillion



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated a total expenditure of Rs 2.124 trillion for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the budget in both houses of the Federal Parliament.

Presenting the annual budget, Wagle said the expenditure plan outlines the government’s fiscal priorities for the upcoming year.
