Govt allocates Rs 4.3 billion allocated for sports sector



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 4.3 billion for the sports sector.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle shared the information while presenting the budget speech for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.

The budget also includes a provision for lifelong healthcare support for athletes who win international medals, ensuring they can lead a dignified life after retirement.
