Siddhartha Highway to be upgraded to international standard



KATHMANDU: The government has announced that the Siddhartha Highway will be upgraded to international standards.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the budget for fiscal year 2026/27 in the Federal Parliament.

Presenting the annual budget, Wagle said the upgrade aims to improve connectivity, transport efficiency, and overall infrastructure quality along the major highway corridor.
