Govt to integrate dozens of services into Nagarik App, announces AI push



KATHMANDU: The government has announced plans to integrate dozens of public services into the Nagarik App and expand digital service delivery.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the budget for fiscal year 2026/27 in the Federal Parliament.

Presenting the annual budget, Wagle said that multiple government services would be linked with the Nagarik App to improve accessibility and efficiency in public service delivery.

He also announced special initiatives to position Nepal in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), stating that the government will take targeted steps to promote AI adoption and innovation in the country.
