Govt abolishes excise duty on 360 items



KATHMANDU: The government has abolished excise duty on 360 items.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced the decision while presenting the budget for fiscal year 2083/84.

Presenting the annual budget in the Federal Parliament, Waglé said that excise duty previously levied on 360 goods has been removed as part of fiscal reforms aimed at simplifying the tax system.
