Cabinet approves fiscal budget



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Cabinet has approved the income and expenditure estimates (budget) for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 (2026/27).

The meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Friday approved the budget.

Earlier, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle briefed the Cabinet on the proposed budget.

Finance Minister Wagle is presenting the budget in Parliament today itself. Along with the budget speech, the related documents will also be tabled in the House.
