NRB issues  today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 150.74, while the selling rate is Rs 151.34.

The buying rate for one euro is Rs 171.96 and the selling rate is Rs 172.64. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 199.28 and sold at Rs 200.07, while one Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 186.52 and a selling rate of Rs 187.27.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 104.03, with the selling rate at Rs 104.44.

Similarly, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.33 and the selling rate is Rs 9.36. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.17 and sold at Rs 22.26. The buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 40.14 and Rs 40.30, respectively, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 41.39 and sold at Rs 41.56.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.52 and the selling rate is Rs 4.54. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.04 and sold at Rs 41.21. The buying and selling rates for one Malaysian ringgit are Rs 36.88 and Rs 37.03, respectively.

Likewise, one South Korean won is being bought at Rs 9.80 and sold at Rs 9.84. The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 15.55, while the selling rate is Rs 15.61. One Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.00 and a selling rate of Rs 23.10.

The buying and selling rates for one Hong Kong dollar are Rs 19.22 and Rs 19.30, respectively. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 489.57 and sold at Rs 491.52, while one Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 399.84 and a selling rate of Rs 401.43. One Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 391.55 and sold at Rs 393.11.

The buying rate for Indian Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest official rates are available on the central bank’s website.
