Vice President Yadav, Chinese envoy discuss bilateral ties and cooperation



KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming at the Office of the Vice President in Lainchaur on Wednesday.

According to the Vice President’s Office, the two discussed Nepal-China relations based on peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and longstanding friendship, as well as economic cooperation and future areas of collaboration.

During the meeting, Vice President Yadav praised China’s achievements over the past four decades and stressed the importance of Chinese partnership in trade, tourism, infrastructure, energy and technology transfer.

Ambassador Maoming expressed his commitment to elevating Nepal-China relations to a new level. He noted that China places high priority on its relationship with Nepal and said he would continue working to promote prosperity for the people of both countries.
