MORANG: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire has said that the party’s 15th general convention will be held within the scheduled timeframe.
Speaking at a press meet organised by the Nepal Press Union Morang branch on Wednesday, Ghimire said the party has no alternative but to move forward in unity and added that membership updates are being carried out to make the party more competitive.
He also said the Nepali Congress will formulate its official position only after reviewing the government’s performance for its first 100 days in office.
Ghimire added that the current government should work in the interest of the people and remain accountable to both Parliament and the public.
