PM Balen Shah moves into official residence in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah has moved to the official Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Friday evening after performing prayers.

Officials at Baluwatar confirmed that Prime Minister Shah arrived at the residence following the ritual ceremonies. Outgoing Prime Minister Sushila Karki vacated the official residence earlier in the day after attending the swearing-in ceremony at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, in the afternoon.

Prime Minister Shah had taken the oath of office and secrecy at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office today at noon.
